Mike Viola, Ph.D. Director of Client Technologies Dr. Michael Viola joined the Warner Babcock Institute in 2010. From 2003 to 2010 he held the position of R&D Director for the Inkjet Division of Cabot Corporation. In that role he was responsible for the research and product development of surface modified pigments used in a wide variety of aqueous based inkjet printers. Prior to that Dr. Viola was part of the original team of scientists and engineers at A123Systems, a global leader in the design and manufacture of lithium ion batteries based on Nanophosphate TM technology. For several years he worked at the Polaroid Corporation and specialized in silver halide semiconductors, digital printing methods and self assembled meso-structures. He is the author on 20 patents and several publications. Dr. Viola holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University. |
