The Warner Babcock Institute was happy to welcome back Dr. Pradyumna Mohanty in April 2015 after he took a couple years off to work abroad. Dr. Mohanty previously worked for WBI for two years from 2010-2012 as a synthetic organic chemistry focusing on developing green chemistry methods, synthesis and characterization of small molecules for our medicinal chemistry program. Prior to working at WBI, Mohanty has extensive experience in drug discovery leading many small molecule synthesis teams up to developing pre-clinical candidates.
Mohanty received his M.Sci. in Organic Chemistry from Utkal University, Orissa, India, and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad.
