Rowan Walker

Rowan Walker joined the WBI team back in September 2010 as a newly graduated chemist from Gordon College where he received his B.Sci. in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. Rowan was introduced to Green Chemistry while in college and gave presentations on, “Greener Oxidation Options: Molybdate-Catalyzed Synthesis of Conjugated Aldehydes and Ketones” and, “Selective Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol to Benzaldehyde: A Green Chemistry Laboratory Experiment” at the 2009 ACS National Meetings in Salt Lake City, UT and Washington D.C.
