The AAAS-Lemelson Invention Ambassadors Program and the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry invite you to join John C. Warner and fellow Invention Ambassadors Bertrand Cambou, Ben Hsiao, Maria Oden, and Eric Fossum for a panel highlighting the systemic problems inventors encounter along the pathway to invention – and the creative ways they have gotten around them. Panelists will also discuss practical ways that private and public entities can contribute to overcoming these challenges on a macro level.

Panelists:
Bertrand Cambou – Professor of Practice, Northern Arizona University
Eric Fossum – Professor at the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth and Director of the School’s PhD Innovation Program
Benjamin Hsiao – Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, Stony Brook University
Maria Oden – Professor in the Practice of Engineering in the Dept. of Bioengineering at the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University, and Director of the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen (OEDK) at Rice
John Warner – Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer, Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry, LLC

Panel discussion with Q&A will be follow by a reception with light refreshments.
