Carmen Baldino serves as the Vice President of Life Sciences R&D for the Warner Babcock Institute. Prior to joining WBI, he was the scientific co-founder of Jasco Pharmaceuticals, an oncology therapeutics company; BioDuro, a China based integrated R&D services company; and Anthill Technologies, a chemistry R&D company. He also spent ten years at ArQule, most recently as Vice President of Chemistry with responsibility for collaborative research programs. Carmen obtained his B. S. in Chemistry from Southern Connecticut State University, Ph. D. from Purdue University & the Scripps Research Institute, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale University. His academic research focused on the total synthesis of natural products and bioorganic chemistry.
